My mom got cancer, when she was diagnosed with cancer, our family were pretty distraught. We were thinking on what should we do. It was a wake-up call for everyone in the family, including me. Since then I started learning about what is health and why health is so important.

During that period of time, I learnt a lot about nutrition. What we eat is really important. We are what we eat. If we don’t invest since we are young we are going to feel the effect when we are old and it’s going to be too late to realize. We have to invest on it since we were young.

At first I see Yoga as a way into fitness. But in yoga itself, I found spirituality. I learnt so much about spirituality, breathing, meditation and ahimsa. It becomes more holistic. I applied all of that to my family first and into myself. From there, it became the thing that I do, my job. As a health coach and a yoga teacher.

I was working in the corporate world. I was a headhunter. It was quite far away from listening to your heart and being spiritual and I was not very happy in that context, in that situation. I just came to a point where I didn’t want to be unhappy anymore. So I just quit and changed my life for the better

My life journey leads me to Bali where I have a strong bond already since the first time I visited here in 2000. It was something that I need to experience to become whole again. We come here to heal even we will find different ways of calling that. We might not call it healing but it is a way to seek, to feel whole again.

This is where I started to get deep into Yoga. The word yoga means unifying. It’s a way to stretch and strengthen your body and your mind. It’s a way to begin to feel the connection between the physical, the mental, and the heart. I have been practicing yoga since and I am also sharing my knowledge about it at Samadi.

Hi, My name is Erin. I'm a coach and a healer and I've been working online for nearly a decade. I help people in many different areas mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I help them find out who they truly are, learn to love who they are and how to share who they are with the world.

The thing I love about Bali is that, there are so many people in my situation. They are entrepreneurs or they are creators. They are making things happen and they are all looking for
connection and support. So I feel like I could sit at any café in Bali and get along with nine out of then people that sit next to.

Being in a community is a fantastic way of expanding a social circle. Also because I care about supporting my community and making sure that new people to the island also know where to be able to get this or that. My friends call me the mayor of Bali.

I was a social worker before in Spain. I used to work with people who has problems with drugs. But, my dream was to come to India. So I left Spain and came to Asia 15 years ago. I was living in India for a long time and then I moved to Thailand, lived there a few years. This path had lead me to Bali to be a Yoga teacher, especially tantra.

I was already a yoga teacher back in Thailand. My previous partner asked me to come to Bali with him. I agreed. I sent a few applications for different yoga studios. One of them asked me to do trials. I came over and I am very grateful I can work here.

Normally now, I’m teaching people that want to become yoga teaches. That’s the majority of the people. Although we are also attracting any type of customer. From young to old, people who do sports, people who want to learn more about flexibility, people who is recovering from injuries, or all type of people that they think life quality will be better if they do yoga.
