My name is Ian MacLeod a co-founder of Nirvana Strength and also the head coach here. I have been in Asia for almost 13 years and two and a half years Bali specifically. Teaching has always been a part of me. We started Nirvana strength about three years ago.

Teaching has always been a big part of my life. It is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time. Then the opportunity came to open up this gym in Bali where I really be able to focus on teaching in something specific that I really have passion about.

This gym and in everything that we do here is encompasses basically my entire philosophy about what we have been doing with regards to health, wellness, creating a culture that helps promote growth. It’s more individualistic and customized to the people that come here. That’s the main idea and goal.

I am the kind of person who don’t necessarily want to work for a big corporate company anymore after working there for a while. I wanted to see If I could grow my own and do my own thing. That’s why I started an online skincare business a while back while also trying to create something for myself as a dream coach where I lead people who have a strong desire for more to take massive actions.

I want to help people to understand not to give up their power for others to dictate how they live their life. I truly believe that people have the control. Be passionate with whatever you do and do it. Because we only have one shot. We don’t get the time back but money we can always make. A lot of people don’t understand that concept and I want to tell them there are many ways to live and one of them are your way.

My name is Ricardo. I am originally from Italy. Throughout my life for most of the time I have been a basketball player. That’s what I have been doing for so long. Italy has been home for the majority of the time but I have been lucky enough to leave and travel. To live a little bit in the UK, Dubai and of course now in Bali.

I stopped playing basketball professionally at 22 and ended up working in finance for a year. It was going great but I was not ready to get stuck. I was looking a life with a little bit more freedom. That’s when I decided to coach CrossFit and fitness. Those are the things that I am also passionate about and I am grateful I can turn my passion into a job that can pay my lifestyle which eventually led me into Bali.

Bali has been such a big part of my life. It’s where I met my fiancé. It’s where I got engaged. It’s where I grew the most as a coach, as an athlete, and as a human being.

Hi, My name is Erin. I'm a coach and a healer and I've been working online for nearly a decade. I help people in many different areas mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I help them find out who they truly are, learn to love who they are and how to share who they are with the world.

The thing I love about Bali is that, there are so many people in my situation. They are entrepreneurs or they are creators. They are making things happen and they are all looking for
connection and support. So I feel like I could sit at any café in Bali and get along with nine out of then people that sit next to.

Being in a community is a fantastic way of expanding a social circle. Also because I care about supporting my community and making sure that new people to the island also know where to be able to get this or that. My friends call me the mayor of Bali.
