My name is Sweania Delisa. I’m 21 years old. I’m a professional athlete and I’m also currently a singer, a dancer, and a model. I grew up in this beautiful island of Bali. Basically I’m Balinese, but I have all of these mixtures in a family from a different area.

My dad is a very loving and forgiving person. But he doesn’t make that much income in life because he’s on the administration. So, I always have this desire inside me that I always wanted to change that life. I also want to change other’s perspective towards me or my family.

Dancing, singing and sports are the things that I do to channel my pain away into something beautiful and positive. Those activities give me so much motivation to be a better person mentally and physically. Those are the media I use to express my sadness. They taught me a lot of things such as how to love and believe in myself.

I think there is something wrong with the system. I think it is somehow modern slavery when someone tells you that you have to work until you’re 65 and then after that you’re free to do what you want to do. I don’t know when and I don’t know how exactly but I woke up and thought as long as I am working for someone I will never be able to reach my dreams and pursue self-realization that is the most important thing.

So I started my own Instagram account two and half yeas ago to do some vlogging. You could say I am a vlogger. I also do collaborations with brand to make good contents and do some modelling as well. I could say Bali is very unique place. You see a lot of possibilities here in Bali which is mind-blowing. It actually assists me to evolve to be better. First of all you have a little bit more time you you could start look into yourself more. Secondly, if you tell the universe what you want, it will put people to your path helping you to get it.

I have been living in Indonesia for 5 years, mostly in Jakarta. Sometimes I go travel outside for work like to Tokyo or New York. Whenever I came to Bali I always thought like what should I do to stay longer in this place. Because it’s surrounded with nature and nice people. So then I decided to move and make Bali as my base.

Beside the nature and the nice people what I love the most about Bali is the culture. It’s also a very international place. We have people from all over the world. It’s a nice place to meet different people
and get to know different businesses in the future. There are huge opportunities here in Bali and the people are just so open minded.

Living in an international place makes my job easier because I am an entrepreneur, a model, also an actor. I do few businesses, one of the example is investment in energy. I also help promote brands by being a model. Sometimes I also got called up to do some acting.
